Analysis need to be able to query Event Frames

the ability to rollup or sum event frame data for a month would be great!

    Asset Analytics was designed to be a real time calculation engine, i.e. streaming calculations. It was not designed, nor is it a good fit to perform summaries over multiple event frames. A reporting tool, such as PI DataLink or PI Vision would be a much better fit. As such, we currently do not have any plans to implement this idea.

    This is very useful, because recreating the trigger logic inside an Expression analysis to be able to then use the Rollup feature or others is not always possible or trivial. The Event Frame Generation has some built-in capabilities that the regular Expression analysis doesn't have. For example, the Time True option of the Event Frame Generation is hard to replicate in an Expression, and so it would be useful to have the ability to sum duration or do other summary calculations on Event Frames instead of having to recreate the trigger logic inside an Expression to expose the values in Attributes and then have the ability to perform the summary calculation of choice.
