As a PI System administrator, it would be helpful if the PI Server had an artificial intelligence or machine learning system which could recognize the normal updating patterns of a PI Point and report when a tag was not receiving updates properly to the administrator. The present method for identifying stale points requires some knowledge about how frequently each point would be expected to update.
