The Data Archive and AF are both designed to be enterprise software. At this time, we have no plans to fully support the Data Archive and AF running with workstation operating systems in production. Having said that, OSIsoft has recently introduced the Edge Data Store which may be a good fit for your needs. Here are some additional information on the Edge Data Store:
