Commonly used fault reporting software, such as SkySpark, visualization, GIS and Advanced Analytics applications are requiring metadata/markers embededded in the tags in addition to Tag Name, Timestamp and Value.
Not having a native way to add these meta data markers to PI Points makes it significantly more difficult to get Building Automation data from PI to non PI applications in order to get the most use out of the data.
