Dynamic Email Delivery Endpoint should support multiple recipients (from a comma or semicolon separated string). This would allow us to simplify many templates. Specifically, this would allow use cases such as a single element template with an “Area” attribute, which we use in a Table Lookup to provide the recipients for the notifications configured on the template. Currently, we need to create several different notification rules on each template with additional conditions (matching to the Area attribute) to accomplish this. Alternately, the other change that might be considered is for Groups to have a configuration parameter where either it sends a single email to all recipients, or separate emails for each individual recipient.

    This is already available if you install notifications using the AF Services 2017 R2 Update 1 setup kit. There is a minor UI inconsistency in PI System Explorer that we will fix in the next release, but the functionality is there to support multiple email addresses using Dynamic Email Delivery.
