Currently, exponents in UOM abbreviations are not superscripted (e.g. cm2, ft3). Please use the proper superscript characters for these (e.g. cm², ft³).

Unfortunately the use of superscripts and subscripts would make text based tools, such as PI Builder or plan old text editor, much more difficult to use.
At this time, we have no plans to implement this idea.
