PI System Explorer was designed to be a configuration tool. We added the Time Series Data viewing and minimal trending tools primarily to improve the configuration of Formula, Analyses and general adhoc viewing of data. PI System Explorer was not designed to be a feature complete trending tool. For the best experience in viewing and trending data, we recommend using PI Vision.
