The event frame being generated can be used to capture values, in addition to being used as the basis for a notification rule. As such, we're reluctant to start/stop the analysis based on the notification rule as effectively there may be data loss.
In conjunction with this, if the analysis for a notification rule is disabled (whether intentionally or due to some fault), the associated notification should also be disabled since it will never be triggered, otherwise it appears to be operating normally.
