When viewing a set of Asset Framework Attributes within an element in PI System Explorer (PSE), it would be helpful to have the option to automatically refresh the "Value" field in a similar way to the "Current Values" option in PI System Management Tools (SMT).
The benefit of this feature would be for troubleshooting and examining Realtime updates to ensure they are expected without the need to manually select "Refresh".
Performance may be an issue as well, so this wouldn't be enabled by default but could be manually enabled only for the attributes within an element level.

PI System Explorer was designed to be a configuration tool. As such, we have no plans to provide an auto-update features.
Users are encourage to use our visualization tools, such as PI Vision to examine real time updates.
