New AF analyses should be automatically backfilled a set time interval upon creation.

There should be an option in PSE to automatically backfill all AF Analyses a set time interval upon creation that can be set once. This would prevent a user from having to manually backfill analyses individually or in a group from the Management pane each time new analyses are created.

    This would be a great additional feature and help me instantly get historical data for new tags/calculations that I need. The data would be used to determine baselines and help identify deficiencies in the process.

    I have some reservations about this suggestion. I see how it could be convenient for some particular usage scenario in saving a few few mouse clicks. On the other hand, I'm leery about a feature that would automatically write potentially a lot of data without user intervention. Nevertheless, I have a few questions. Would the length of this time interval for backfill always the same for every newly created analysis? Approximately how many analyses do you create that require this backfill? How would the software know you have finalized the analysis creation and that it's ok to backfill? In my experience, users go through many iterations when creating analyses and it's difficult for the software to know when it has been finalized. Any additional information you can provide would be helpful.
