When I’m creating a new EF and I start to type the PiPoint name for the analysis, Pi tries to make my life easier by shortlisting the possible pipoints based of what I am typing. i.e if I type “Temp” a popup will appear with a list of pipoints that start with “Temp”, I can then double click on the correct pinpoint and it updates the EF I am working on. This is the functionality that I want turned off, as it slows and stalls Pi while it is populating the popup.
As it is causing huge amount of frustration when trying to edit or create new analytics rules in Pi due to the system stalling and timing out for up to a minute or more every single time you go to edit anything in an EA or EF.
