Many notifications users are able to access notifications through e-mail, but due to the frequency or lack of importance to the platform they can be easily ignored. This proposal is to allow notifications to be sent to Cell Phones directly through PI Notifications using just the phone number (configured on an AD User object).
Many end users have cell phones that are not connected to email but can received text messages. Currently you can send a text message thru the email notifications but it is a bit of a hassle to get it to work.
