Customers can exploit the benefits of sending PI Notifications alerts through MS Teams, with high priority, for any incidents or any events that need to be reported. This also includes the ability to send a PI Vision link and a PI Vision display screenshot, as in the typical PI Notifications email format.
PI notifications to MS Teams using Web Hooks. With the Web Hooks going to be retired in December 2025 what will be the alternative solution.
It is already possible today using the Teams WebHook (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/webhooks-and-connectors/how-to/add-incoming-webhook?tabs=dotnet) and massaging your notification into a properly formatted JSON, but its not as straight forward as it could be. Teams is sufficiently widely used that there should be dedicated tooling in AF to manage these for us. Probably the same can be said for Slack, Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal... In general the notification endpoints could do with some modernisation.
