PowerShell Tools for the PI System required .NET Framework since it relied upon AF SDK and other AVEVA libraries. With AF SDK for .NET 8 due to be released 2H 2025, can there be a future version of PowerShell Tools for the PI System that does not rely upon .NET Framework?
This is a huge blocker, as Windows PowerShell is out of support and the Long Term Support version of PowerShell is [.NET] Core. We cannot upgrade our version of PS on production servers because our PI Scripts break. I can't even do something as simple as "Get-AFServer"
