Search for all Event frames belonging to an Element and its Child Elements

Currently in PI System Explorer we can search for Event Frames based on Element Name. However, it would also be good to have the option to also search for Event Frames belonging to child Elements of that specified Element. For example, if you have a Parent Element for each of your sites or sub-sections within a plant and you would like to see all Event Frames for all assets belonging to that site or sub-section then you can select the option to include child Elements in the Event Frame Search.

This would be extremely beneficial to us to be able to display plant wide events by Area when passing asset relationships via navigation links.  Currently you have to create a separate (pre-filtered) display for each area.

Are you referring to PI System Explorer or some other display client?

In response to Stephen Kwan, "Are you referring to PI System Explorer ..." I was referring to Vision.  It would be great to be able to return descendant elements events (not just descendant child event frames) on the search criteria for Event Frame Tables in Vision.  Asset Comparison Tables have this option, but Event Frame Tables do not.

Would you please create a new suggestion in the PI Vision forum? This particular suggestion originally refers to PI System Explorer as the client. Since different people monitor different forums, your suggestion in the PI Vision forum would be most helpful to the relevant OSIsoft personnel.
