A useful setting for PI Analytics would be the ability to specify a specific pointsource that the Analytic service writes to. This would help tremendously to troubleshoot what tags on the PI DA server are being written to by AF Analytics.
One workaround would be to implement a PI-Group that is applied to each Analytic PI Tag. Actually, I create one PI-Group for each program that can write to a PI Tag and apply the appropriate write access to each PI Tag. i.e. PI Interface, PI Analytics, PI Adapter.
So, DataSecurity: PIAdmins: A(r,w), UserReadGroup: A(r), ServerAnalytics: A(r,w).
